Melody Stanbery is a copywriter.

Well, hello there. I am a writer and grammar fiend who is always looking for new outlets for my creativity. I am currently a copywriter for deep, an advertising agency in Springfield, MO, which, despite its location, has given me the opportunity to work with some amazingly creative people on some of the world's largest brands.

In the past, I've been pretty fortunate to be able to work with talented people who have helped me grow as a writer and creative thinker, and lucky for me, they still look to me when they're in a pinch.

I also have big goals for myself. Some day, I hope to be a published author - yeah, yeah, I know, so does every other copywriter - and am hoping that people will just know my name. When I'm not writing, I'm usually found out running in 90 degree weather, cooking risotto or baking treats for my dogs, knitting hats and dolls of myself for my friends, reading really twisted books, selling trains on eBay (long story), watching CNN and Comedy Central, heading out to a concert with Jason, or trying to learn an easy song on my guitar.
