Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Part Deux

April 13th, 2009

I love my friends who are joining in on this little sicworld project. This one came my way from Mason, who lives in Las Vegas (hence the title of this blog), which I’m sure is where he stumbled across this little beauty. Is it just me, or does this license plate holder look like it was carefully crafted on one of those little handheld labelers? I get that you’re trying to be cute, dear California driver, but in the end, you just sort of look like a moron.

Today’s hot sale item: zombies!

I think it is completely awesome how, despite it being such a dark time in our economy, somebody is looking out for people wanting to cause a pandemic. Now it doesn’t have cost a fortune to create an outbreak of Biblical proportions!

I’m just hoping that this shop owner will give similar discounts to those hoping to stock up on the guns and chainsaws it may take to survive the zombie uprising which may ensue from this sale.

Let’s go for a ride.

Parents, just a word of warning: you might want to carefully train your children when it comes to spelling or else you might start getting some odd stares during parent/teacher conference time thanks to assignments like this. However, I have to give credit to this child. The flow of this story is made so much more phenomenal because of his innocent, yet hilarious mistake.

Culver’s: the expert on brand names!

January 5th, 2009

Here’s what I don’t get about old people… They pluralize everything! Sometimes, when I talk to my mom, she’ll tell me with great excitement that she and her friend Sandy went to Panera’s. That’s why I’m assuming the latter half of this jacked up sign was done by an old person. Because everyone under the age of 50 knows that it’s no longer Nestle’s — it’s Nestle. But why nobody caught the swapped S and T, I just don’t know. Maybe people just aren’t as anal as me? Yeah, that’s it.

P.S. Culver’s… Nestle is the largest food company in the world. Get their name right!
